چکیده
Soil acts as a rich source of Actinomycetes, which are generally characterized potent antibiotic producers. The research rationale this study was to isolate and characterize potential Actinomycetes possessing properties from the soils Dharwad Karnataka, India. Further, isolates were using microscopic, biochemical molecular techniques. Initially, ten different isolated on starch casein agar media. Out isolates, five them Gram-positive further screened for antimicrobial potency by cross streak method. Among 5 studied, SN-7 found be most efficient against all four pathogens tested, confirmed its efficacy. active identified Streptomyces strain 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity analysis given no. SN-7. Genebee NEB Cutter version 2.0 online tools used confirm secondary structure restriction sites DNA respectively, deposited with NCBI an accession number KX284898, In addition, subjected preliminary screening bioactive metabolites column chromatography eluted fractions UV FTIR spectroscopy

The increasing global public health concern of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) necessitates exploration of natural antimicrobial agents as potential alternatives. This study aims to investigate antimicrobial activities of Saharan actinomycetes, with specific focus on the strain Streptomyces fimbriatus AC31, that holds promising potential as an alternative to combat AMR. In this context, 32 actin...
متن کاملIsolation and Identification of Streptomyces ramulosus from Soil and Determination of Antimicrobial Property of its Pigment
Background and objective: Pigment production by microorganisms is important due to more rapid growth, higher efficiency, easier extraction, and antimicrobial effects compared to other methods. The aim of the present study is to isolate and identify antibiotic pigment-producing actinomycetes from the soil of the Persian Gulf and to evaluate the antibiotic activity of their pigments in the second...

متن کاملIsolation, Identification and Antioxidant Activity of Melanin Pigment from Actinomycete (Streptomyces Species) Isolated from Garden Soil, Nagpur District, India
Three strains among 20 Streptomyces isolates produce a diffusible dark brown pigment on both peptone-yeast extract agar and Streptomyces isolation agar. They also showed the positive reaction towards L-tyrosine substrates. The pigment has been referred to be dark brown water soluble pigment, as melanin. The present study reports antioxidant activity of melanin pigment from Actinomycete (Strepto...
